Michael Bennett O.D.
Dr. Bennett is a 1983 graduate of the Michigan College of Optometry at Ferris State University. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Geology from Michigan State University, and his Masters in Neurobiology from the University of Houston. His graduate work in visual development was widely published, including papers in Science and Brain Research. Dr. Bennett has presented original research at meetings of the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology and the American Academy of Optometry. Dr. Bennett moved to Juneau in 1999 from the upper peninsula of Michigan, his home state, where he had been in private practice. He has been very active in cataract and refractive surgery co management and is particularly interested in custom and bifocal contact lens design and glaucoma diagnosis and management. Dr. Bennett and his wife Dianne have three grown children, sons George and John in Naples, Florida, and daughter Allison who also lives in Juneau. He is a member of Glacier Valley Rotary Club and the Alaska and American Optometric Associations. In his leisure time he enjoys skiing, hiking, and other outdoor activities.

Dianne Bennett
Dianne is Dr. Bennett's bride of 20 years. She is very versatile, and able to fill any position in the office. She is happy to cover staff vacations, and their times of illness. Dianne is always shopping for the newest designs in eyewear for our office. She is also responsible for the beautiful displays that she changes every season and holidays. Dianne also plans all of our frame shows; she invites a frame representative to bring all their frames in the office for a day. We have cookies, punch, and fun! Contact Dianne by email.

Jennifer Rodriguez
Is our medical billing manager. She reviews all billing information for accuracy and, as a service to our patients, processes vision and medical insurance claims for them. She handles all insurance rejections and is a tireless advocate for our patients. If you have any billing questions, she is the person to talk to.
Jennifer was born here in Juneau. She is a mother of 2 wonderful kids. In her spare time, she can be found enjoying the outdoors, fishing and hiking with her family. Contact Jennifer by m">email.

Kristine Lowry
Kristine Lowry is our optometric technician. She is excited to be working at Lifetime Eyecare! Kristine is happy to assist you with the pre-testing portion of your exam, which entails a complete eye health evaluation using advanced technology instruments. Kristine was born in Boise, Idaho. She has a wonderful husband and 3 beautiful children. She has lived in Juneau for 17 years. Kristine in her free time can be found being a mother and wife, and enjoys reading, biking, hiking, camping, beading and playing the piano. It’s important to Kristine to be involved in her community and church and volunteering at her children’s schools and camping with her family.

Lorelee Wade, ABOC
Lorelee Wade is our Optician and Lab Manager. She assists patients with frame selections and explains lens options to fit your lifestyle.
